Society Hill Synagogue Young Friends (20- and 30-somethings)

The Young Friends of Society Hill Synagogue bring together 20- and 30-somethings — singles and couples — for Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, happy hours, and other gatherings here at the synagogue and throughout Greater Philadelphia. A large number of our congregation’s newer members are in their 20s and 30s, and we’re excited to offer an expanding array of programs for them, with leadership from Young Friends Co-Chairs Anna Wiener, Louis Polcin, and Alexis Rosen.
If you would like to learn more and get to know fellow 20- and 30-somethings in a fun, welcoming ambiance, please contact Anna, Louis, and Alexis at youngfriends(at)societyhillsynagogue.org. We look forward to meeting you!

Interested in exploring Israel and experiencing its rich history and culture? Jordan, a native of Wyoming and student at the University of Pennsylvania, works with Birthright Israel and will discuss what it’s like to be a Jewish student on an American college campus since October 7, and how Birthright — which is now available to participants ages 18-40 — can provide a firsthand experience that connects you to Jewish heritage, and gives a sense of community support and belonging while exploring the people and land of Israel.
This program is generously sponsored by Rob Einhorn in memory of the victims of the October 7 attack.
