This year in Philly, Next year in Jerusalem!

Passover, or Pesah, is a major Jewish festival that commemorates the Exodus of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. This eight-day celebration involves the Seder meal, where the story of the Exodus is retold, and symbolic foods are consumed. Matzah, unleavened bread, is eaten throughout the holiday to remember the haste with which the Israelites fled Egypt. Passover is a time for family gatherings, reflection, and giving thanks for freedom and deliverance.
Society Hill Synagogue warmly welcomes you to share in Pesah festivities with us!

Celebrate Pesah (Passover) at our annual Second Night Seder with Society Hill Synagogue members, family, and friends. Led by Rabbi Nathan Kamesar, we’ll march through the Haggadah together with interactive readings and interpretations as we envision ourselves journeying from Egyptian bondage to freedom.
We will enjoy a delicious Kosher for Passover meal with catering from Panache by Foodarama. Kosher for Passover wine is included, and you are welcome to bring your own Kosher for Passover wine favorites, as well.
For Society Hill Synagogue members, the cost of Seder registration is $60 per adult (ages 13+) and $40 per child (under age 13), and for the General Public the cost is $80 per adult (ages 13+) and $50 per child (under age 13).
