With so many wonderful opportunities for every generation at Society Hill Synagogue, we are excited to welcome you to our Open House Weekend on September 6 and 7! There is no charge for attendance; we just ask guests to register below for the Open House. Friday evening, September 6 — our first weekly TGIShabbat celebration of the year begins with 5:30 pm Wine & Cheese, followed by our 6:00 pm service in the Sanctuary with Rabbi Nathan Kamesar and Hazzan Jessi Roemer joined by world-class musicians, and our 7:15 pm delicious Oneg dinner.
For families with newborns through six-year-olds, that Friday will include our first Young Families Shabbat of the year at 5:45 pm, with guitar grooves, lots of singing, blessings, dancing, and the company of new friends and familiar faces, along with dinner. -
Saturday morning, September 7 — Join us for a 9:00 am Coffee and Schmooze, followed by our weekly Shabbat service in the Sanctuary from 9:45 am-12:00 pm and Kiddush lunch.
This Saturday will also feature a and a 9:30 am Taste of Hebrew School for those interested in learning more about our esteemed program for ages 4-16, as that Saturday is the first day of classes for our Hebrew School students!
