Kabbalat Shabbat is a special ritual in the rhythm of Jewish life, one of the rituals that most foregrounds the tradition’s mystical teachings. During this monthly, five-session course, we’ll unpack the way that Jewish mystics used code and symbolism to force Kabbalat Shabbat into a mystical ritual. We’ll explore ways to follow along with, and connect to, Kabbalat Shabbat services that we attend.
